Manicure Planner: Schedule Your Nail Care
Choose the kind of manicure and a start date to get a dated nail care schedule: manicures, top coat days, polish-free weeks and pedicures for the…
Choose how often you exfoliate, use retinol, wash your hair, mask, do your nails and remove body hair to get a four-week calendar that spaces the tasks sensibly.
The beauty routine calendar arranges the care tasks that you do not do every day into four weeks of dates, so that nothing clashes and nothing is forgotten.
You say how often you do each task. The calendar places them on days, keeps face exfoliation and retinol on different nights, puts a body scrub on the day before hair removal, and shows the result as a table with one row for each day.
| Field | Choices | If left unchanged |
|---|---|---|
| Start date | Any date within a year of today | Today |
| Face exfoliation | None, or one, two or three times a week | Must be chosen |
| Retinol or another retinoid | None, or one to four nights a week | Must be chosen |
| Days between hair washes | A whole number from 1 to 14, or 0 to leave hair out | 3 |
| Weekly mask | None, face mask, hair mask or both | None |
| Manicure | None, every week, every 10 days, every 2 or 3 weeks | None |
| Body hair removal | None, every 3 days, every week, every 2 or 4 weeks | None |
| Sensitive skin | A box to tick | Not ticked |
Days are counted from your start date, and the pattern repeats every seven days.
Under the table, the calendar counts how often each task appears in the four weeks.
If you choose no task at all, the calendar says that it is empty, and asks you to choose at least one.
Starting on Monday 12 October 2026: exfoliation twice a week, retinol three nights a week, a hair wash every 3 days, both masks, a manicure every 10 days and hair removal every week.
Exfoliation falls on Tuesdays and Saturdays, retinol on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and the face mask on Sundays. Hair removal is on Tuesdays, with a body scrub on Mondays. Hair is washed on 12, 15, 18 and 21 October and so on, with a hair mask after the first wash of each week. Manicures fall on 15 and 25 October and 4 November. In four weeks, that is 12 retinol nights, 8 exfoliations, 10 hair washes and 4 hair removals.
The calendar arranges the tasks you choose. It does not decide how often you should do them. Start low with exfoliation and retinol, and add a night only when your skin is comfortable. Retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen daily, and retinoids are not recommended in pregnancy. Skip exfoliation and retinol on skin that is sore, sunburnt, or freshly shaved or waxed. Retinol for Beginners: How to Start and What to Know explains how to start retinol.
It is better not to, especially at first. Using both together is a common cause of redness and peeling. The calendar always keeps them on separate nights.
Gentle exfoliation lifts dead skin and helps to free hairs, which gives a closer result and fewer ingrown hairs. Exfoliating straight after hair removal can sting. See [[BLOG-200]].
Cleansing, moisturizing and morning sunscreen are listed under the table as daily habits. The calendar shows only the tasks that change from day to day.
