Responsibilities
- Identify and approach suitable beauty, hair care and skincare brands.
- Develop partnership formats, such as sponsored guides, tool sponsorships and newsletter features.
- Prepare proposals and media information.
- Negotiate terms, and manage contracts with support from the business owner.
- Brief the content, design and social teams, and manage delivery to deadlines.
- Make sure that every partnership is disclosed clearly, and meets advertising rules.
- Screen partners and claims. Decline products with unsafe or misleading claims.
- Report on results to partners, and on revenue to the business.
Qualifications
- Experience of partnerships, sponsorship or business development in media or beauty.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- An understanding of disclosure rules for sponsored content and endorsements.
- Respect for editorial independence.
- Good organization, and experience of managing several projects at once.
- A network in the beauty industry is an advantage.
