About the role
ArniSun publishes practical guides and free interactive tools on beauty, hair care and skincare. We are looking for a website QA tester to make sure that what we release works for every visitor, on every common device.
You will test new features, content pages and tools against written requirements, try to break them in sensible ways, and report what you find so that it can be fixed quickly.

Responsibilities
- Write and maintain test plans and test cases for pages, forms and tools.
- Test on current desktop and mobile browsers, at a range of screen widths.
- Check each tool's results against its documented method and worked example, including invalid and extreme inputs.
- Test accessibility: keyboard navigation, focus order, labels, color contrast and screen reader output.
- Check content pages for broken links, missing images, incorrect metadata and layout problems.
- Report defects with clear steps to reproduce, the expected and actual results, and screenshots.
- Re-test fixes, and run regression checks before each release.
- Keep a record of test results.
Qualifications
- Experience of manual testing of websites or web applications.
- A methodical approach, and close attention to detail.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools.
- A working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines.
- Clear, concise written reports.
- Access to at least one desktop computer and one smartphone for testing.
- Experience with test automation is welcome, but not required.
