Database Developer

We are looking for a Database Developer who can design, develop, and manage robust database solutions to support our growing applications and business needs. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with database architecture, and a deep understanding of data integrity and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to support data requirements.
• Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain documentation for database structures and processes.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and ETL processes.
• Understanding of database security, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
