We are looking for a passionate Node.js Intern to join our backend development team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in server-side development, working with Node.js and related technologies. Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of server-side applications using Node.js.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and mobile apps.
Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to store and manage data efficiently.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Passport.js).
Debug and troubleshoot server-side issues to ensure smooth application performance.
Optimize backend performance and implement best security practices.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and improve system functionality.
Work with Express.js or other frameworks to build scalable web applications.
Learn and implement asynchronous programming techniques (Promises, Async/Await).
Utilize version control tools like Git and GitHub for source code management.
Assist in writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Stay up-to-date with Node.js trends, best practices, and industry standards.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and project progress reporting.

Requirements and Skills

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
Familiarity with backend frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and API authentication techniques.
Experience working with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebase).
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with server-side security concepts (CORS, CSRF, Encryption, Hashing).
Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) (Preferred).
Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time communication (Socket.io) (Preferred).
Understanding of error handling and logging using tools like Winston or Morgan.
